In an impressive final, first place came “Tiger/Tweety” Vicky Hatzivasiliou  – Giannis Stampelos a  21-16 victory over highly dynamic “Wolf and Red Riding Hood” Nikos Andrias and Danae Karnava. The matches were characterized by strong efforts that got "snagged" in the carnival costumes that were "falling apart" from the strong hits  along with the lovely atmosphere created by the "national" broadcasters of Beach Volley Kostas Seretis and Dimitris Svarnias .
A special price for the most creative costume was given to Despina Kontokosta and Barouir Aivazian that surprised athletes and spectators with their great sense of humor.

‘Athlete participation and the inovativeness of the costumes surpassed all expectaions. The cumbersome Tweety costume did not deprive Stampelo / Chatzivasileiou victory who were more than ready than any other time. The restless Andrias and rookie Karnava (who has been training only for the past 2 years) raised strong opposition to the winning couple that made it through the "hard" system of single-race exclusion. I would like to thank all Academy members for their continiuous presence in our Academy, that ecouranges us Vari Sports Club Beach Volley Academy's management in planning bigger and better events.’
